Suck My Kiss

It's been nearly 2 months since I arrived back from the USA, and there's literally so much to catch up on in terms of my Sephora shopping spree. Unfortunately work has a way of taking over my life, and working in the retail world at this time of year doesn't give you a lot of free time. Enough of my weak excuses though, let's get on to the lipsticks!

These are the miniature Kat Von D lipsticks from Sephora, sort of like a sampling set of colours as none of them are exclusive colours. I don't know about you, but I am a sucker for miniature items and adore having one or two of these bad boys in my bag to suit my mood.

I purchased this set from a Sephora concession within JC Penney, as the main Sephora store in the mall was completely sold out. Costing only $39 for nine of the most sought after lipsticks I'm surprised I even managed to get my hands on a set. Unfortunately this set is now completely sold out, but fear not, as they will be making room for more amazing make up goodies from the tattoo goddess herself.

The mini collection is rather rich in reds, so I'm pretty much set for life with red lipsticks. I did a few extra lipstick purchases in a few of the shades as a knew that the miniatures wouldn't last me long. Adora being one of those shades.

Countess is a matte hot orange based red. It is quite possibly the brightest shade of red lipstick I have ever seen. I doubt I'm ever going to be able to pull this one off alone, but I imagine it'll be great for some summer ombré lips.

Agatha is a matte pale peach nude. This shade feels almost a little too pale for me, and it's not a shade I ever expected to be a cult favourite. I think with the right lip liner I could make this colour work for me, as I am partial to the odd nude shade.

Adora is a metallic golden red. This is probably one of the most sought after shades out there, and it's easy to see why. It reminds me of the poison apple from snow white, the finish is beautifully tempting. I repurchased this shade in a full size to make sure that I'd have enough for any special occasion that cropped up.

Sexer is an iridescent florescent pink. It's the kind of shade I used to be obsessed with when I first dyed my hair lilac, and the kind I'd like to try again no my locks are purple again. This is a must for the electro-barbie types.

Wonderchilde is an iridescent neon lilac. One of the most beautiful lip colours I have ever seen, but also the most intimidating. I feel a little behind on the trend of unusual lip colours, and while I have no issue wearing this around the house, I've not yet walked out the front door with it on.

Bachelorette is a matte reddish fuscia. I see it as a kind of hyper berry kind of shade, not something I've ever tried before. So far I've found that a dark base works best for this shade, as it seems to draw a little bit too much attention to my mouth, and not in a good way.

Motorhead is a matte black cherry. It also happens to be my favourite shade in the collection. I'm so gutted that I didn't get a larger size as I was already back in the UK before I appreciated its beauty. My only issue with it is that it can go on a little uneven unless you use a decent lip balm before application, but other than that it is gorgeous.

Lovecraft is a matte mauve nude pink. Another lipstick that I purchased in a full size as this is the kind of colour I like to wear every day on my lips. It's nothing special in terms of being a unique shade, but I think that's why I love it. It's a fuss free shade that I can whack on my lips last minute, just what every girl needs.

Hexagram is a matte blood red. A nice basic red shade that every girl needs to go with that little black dress and despite being a matte shade, it doesn't seem to drag on my lips.

There is so much to love about these lipsticks, the variety of shades and finishes, the packaging, the creative names and the Crème Brûlée scent. I know that eventually I will have to make an order for more of these bad boys once I've saved up enough to cover the cost of customs (the greedy shits).

Have you tried the Studded Kiss lipsticks yet? What do you think about Sephora's postage to the UK?
